ABOUT the Workshop
The eleventh edition of our workshop aims at a holistic approach to progressive research methods. We have been conducting Research workshops on regular intervals. The massive success and overwhelming post workshop responses from the participants created a brand value for our workshop and encouraged us to come out with series of the workshops every year. This edition is designed to give comprehensive understanding of multivariate statistical methods with advanced software. The emphasis is on Theory & Model building and testing through a series of statistical tools.
At the end of this workshop, participants could understand the philosophy of research and will be able to use SPSS, AMOS and R software to do data diagnostics, perform appropriate analysis and make meaningful inference. Participants will also be able to write research reports based on their own analysis, inferences and findings.
Kongu Engineering College
Kongu Engineering College was established in the year 1984. Approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, the Institution has completed 35 years of dedicated and excellent service in the field of technical education. It offers 14 UG programmes, 19 PG programmes and 16 Research programmes in Engineering, Applied Sciences and Management imparting high quality value-added education in India. The college has got NBA accreditation for UG programmes, Best Engineering College award, Best Principal award twice. The institution is ranked high among the Engineering Institutions in India by various surveys conducted by reputed magazines/journals/organization. In the survey - first of its kind - conducted by MHRD in the name NIRF (National Institution Ranking Framework), the Institution is placed in the second rank at Tamilnadu level and third rank at National Level among all self financing colleges. In the same survey, the Institution has bagged 46th rank among all Engineering institutions in India including premier institution like IITs, NITs, etc., The institution has established a Technology Business Incubator (TBI) supported by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India in its campus. TBI@KEC has won the National Award, for the Best TBI in India, presented by the President of India on Technology Day in New Delhi on 11 May, 2013
